# Shortcodes in results content

```
Advanced Options -> Content -> Run shortcodes found in post content
```

![Shortcode operation within the content](/files/-LSsFD9HvZYBzhVpaRSO)

For better performance, by default the search parses the shortcodes contents and does not execute them. You can change that, to apply the content filter to the post content (thus running the shortcodes), but in some cases this may cause inconsistencies.
